They were highly professional and did an outstanding job on my truck. Their price was more than fare. They even fixed exhaust leaks that I hadn't had time to fix. They replaced my transmission and a new drive shaft. My truck has never ran so smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone who wants transmission work at a fare and honest price. I will be a customer for life.

Our A/C went out and dash went haywire while we were in town during 100 degree temps, and no one could fit us in to check it out except Neighborhood Auto. Spoke to Chris who was super helpful and friendly, and dropped car next day for them to check it out. A/C belt broke and tore through a host of parts. They gave us a quote and explained everything in detail, and were able to complete all the repairs the next day and came in under budget. I've never experienced such excellent customer care. We had interactions with owners as well, and everyone was kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I work in an industry where I recommend businesses, and I am cautious to only recommend the very best. This is a rare case in which I would endorse a business as being excellent. 5 Stars!

These folks are great to deal with! I reached out on one day and got an appointment for the next morning. Dropped my truck off the night before and had a call back before 8am the next day with a preliminary diagnosis! They gave me an estimate on repairs needed and expenses to expect and I got a call that afternoon that it was done! They are quick, super friendly and I would recommend them to anyone. Great experience at Neighborhood Auto Repair. A friend recommended this place to me and I am glad I listened. Was scheduled two days out and I and asked if it was possible to drop off my vehicle earlier than the scheduled day, which they said was no problem. I got a call a day before the scheduled date and was informed they had found the issue and asked if I wanted them to proceed to correcting the issue. Soon after, I received another call to inform me that my vehicle was ready to pickup. Very reasonable pricing and the vehicle runs better than new. Thank you for a great repair.

Great people from top to bottom. I'm learning how to wrench.....a little. I brang my vehicle to them after I couldn't find a noise that popped up after I replaced some parts. The people who run this shop are very professional, prompt, and don't charge lots of money. Les Schwab gave me an estimate for getting some work done for $1450 or so. I was able to get that and more done here at Neighborhood Auto Repair for $900. Very competitively priced. I'm so glad to have everything important running properly now. Thanks for the great work!

This was the BEST mechanic/auto repair place I've ever been to. We were on a road trip from Nova Scotia back home to WA state. In Montana a number of things led us to believe that we had an issue with our bearings. We called around and this place was above and beyond helpful. Chris was who we dealt with from start to finish and he was so incredibly kind and generous. He sat with us on the phone for 15 minutes trouble shooting, never making us feel like we were an inconvenience for asking questions. He did incredible, fast work at a reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable on cars and also just so kind! He started work that evening on our car and finished the next morning by 9am! Incredible. If we lived in the area he would 100% be our mechanic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to friends or family. It's not often you come across this level of integrity and care in the mechanic business.

Second time bringing my truck, excellent shop, surprised I didn't leave a review the first time. Very happy with the customer service, the updates on what needs to be done and what they recommend. They have excellent customer service, they are always super nice and respectful, they don’t treat you like you are dumb or a bother; they are always understanding and easy to set up appointments with, even if you don’t know what the exact issue is they are very communicating about potential issues and fixes. Prices are extremely fair, and it never feels as if they are trying to just get as much money as possible; it always feels like they genuinely care and want to help you!

I serviced my own vehicles for years, I don't have the time anymore. After using Neighborhood Auto Repair several times on three vehicles over a few years I have a great deal of respect and trust for the owners and technicians. They do a great job with diagnostics, talk through the repair options, are honest about what needs to be repaired and what can wait, and do a great job completing any repairs.

Great work with reasonable prices! Les Schwab said my son's car needed about $1600 of work. But glad I got a 2nd opinion here! I still needed costly work, but at least it was properly diagnosed and repaired accordingly! I would have been out the $1600 and it would have not been fixed. Very friendly service too. Will definitely use them in the future!

Wish I would have found this place sooner after dealing with so many car issues over the last three years. My experience was great from start to finish. I unexpectedly dropped my car off around 10:00 AM, and they had it finished by about 2:45 PM the same day. The location was also really convenient, with a park and a few shops nearby to help pass the time.

We were getting ready for an all-night trip by auto and the "check engine" light came on the day before. We emailed Neighborhood Auto and they said bring it on in pronto so we did. They diagnosed what was going on and made a warranty repair. What was significant is that they cared about our trip and our car. We drive quite a bit out of our way to go to them and pass lots of car repair shops but we will never go anywhere else. They care about you and serve cookies too.

I have used Neighborhood Auto Repair twice now for two different vehicles. This second time was after my truck started having mechanical problems and needed towed late in the afternoon. They were able to look at it that day and have it ready to go early afternoon of the next day. They have excellent customer service! They offered other services that my truck could use but never pressured me into anything. Truck is running great now. Highly recommended!

Cal and Brandie are extremely nice and honest people. Cal spent many hours troubleshooting the carburetor on my old Toyota landcruiser. He fixed many minor bugs with intake and ignition along the way. He took the time to discuss issues and options with me every step of the way. Unfortunately he wasn't able to resolve my issue as it seems I likely need a new carburetor. When he handed me my bill he had only charged me for a few hours work. I know he had much more time into it. Wow! This was certainly unexpected and appreciated!

They definitely take pride in their work and give a fair price. They said they unfortunately can't install a tuner, but left me a business to contact!
